Unemployed Wisconsin man hits jackpot with $1M McDonald’s Monopoly Win.
Now, I’m not a fan of McDonald’s by any means, but after seeing this guy win one million dollars on McDonald Monopoly. I might have a change of thought. Check out the whole story after the jump.An unemployed Wisconsin man was celebrating Christmas early Wednesday after becoming an overnight millionaire when he won the $1 million prize in the McDonald’s MONOPOLY sweepstakes, WITI-TV in Milwaukee reported.
Jonathon Kehoe, who was been unemployed for more than a year, won the prize when he bought a McRib value meal at a McDonald’s restaurant in West Allis, Wisc., in late October.
When he pulled the sweepstakes tabs off his soda, he realized he had the winning combination of Park Place and Boardwalk, worth $1 million.
Kehoe said at first he did not believe that he actually won the prize, and had to ask if he was really a winner.
“This is really a blessing, ya know,” Kehoe told the station.” Right at the end of my unemployment, I pulled the million dollar tag off a cup. I mean, it couldn’t be better.”
The new millionaire said he plans to pay bills and loans from his parents with his earnings.
The McDonald’s MONOPOLY game gives away millions of dollars in prizes and cash to customers who collect game pieces from the restaurant chain for a chance to win.
